This Privacy Policy explains how Housecraft LLC ("Housecraft", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use ResaleRadar AI (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information you provide: your email address and a hashed password.
  • Search preferences you provide: your zip code, search radius, and the keywords describing the items you are looking for.
  • Listing content we process: publicly available estate sale listing information and photographs that we process to match against your keywords. This content is not provided by you.
  • Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your full card number. We receive limited billing details from Stripe (such as subscription status and a customer identifier) needed to manage your subscription.
  • Usage and technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate the Service: matching publicly available estate sale listing information against your keywords and sending you email alerts.
  • To generate and send alerts that may include or link to photographs from publicly available listings when a match is found.
  • To process subscriptions and billing through Stripe.
  • To communicate with you about your account, alerts, and support requests.
  • To secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

3. Automated Image Analysis

The Service uses automated image analysis (computer vision) to compare publicly available estate sale photographs against the keywords you provide. Photographs are processed for the purpose of generating your matches and alerts. We do not permanently store the image files themselves; we retain a photograph's web address and the results of the analysis for as long as the related listing remains active, after which they are removed. Our alerts and account pages display these photographs by linking to them on the original listings. We do not use your personal information to train artificial intelligence models.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, including:

  • Stripe for payment processing.
  • Cloud hosting and email-delivery providers used to run the Service and send your alerts.
  • Providers that assist with automated image analysis, which receive only the photographs needed for matching and not your search history.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in and protecting forms against abuse. Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, though disabling them may affect how parts of the Service work.

6. Third-Party Websites and Links

The Service processes publicly available information and links to estate sale listings hosted on third-party websites. When you follow those links, you leave the Service and are subject to the privacy practices and terms of those websites. We are not responsible for the practices of websites we do not operate.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and search information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud or abuse. When you delete your account or request deletion, we will make reasonable efforts to delete or anonymize your personal information, except where retention is required or permitted by law (for example, for tax, accounting, or security purposes). Backup and archived copies may persist for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • You can update your search preferences or cancel your subscription from your account.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; contact us to exercise them.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
